Shock Therapy® appreciates your visit. If you are not at least 13 years of age, please leave this web site and do not return until you turn 13.
Shock Therapy® will obtain your information in five ways. The first way is that you will provide it to us when you create and update your account including, at least, your full legal name and email address. The second way is our automated collection of data from the device through which you access our site, including such things as browser type and version, device details, IP address and standard web login information. If the device is mobile we may access the location of that device though you may control that device’s settings to block that. We will also use “cookies” or web beacons. We have a separate policy for those and you may set your device to block them. The third way is that we will use links to third party marketers which may use “cookies” or web beacons to communicate with you and use your information. The fourth way is that our third party analytic service will track data to help us understand how our site and services are being used, such as tracking and analyzing frequency of use, which may involve using “cookies”. The fifth way is actually through your own social media sites which result in collection of data in a number of ways, which becomes available to use. Please note that that makes it very important what information you provide to social media sites.
How We Use Your Information
Shock Therapy® uses your information in two primary ways. The first way is to provide you with scheduling and communications services. The second way is to help us and our third party partners to analyze how our services are being used so we may improve our service and the consumer experience. We may email you information about products and services you may be interested in but you have control over opting out of receiving such emails. If you are concerned about tracking services, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices. You may also learn about opting out of third party marketing services by visiting http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp . Finally, your browser may allow you to send do not track messages though we will continue to attempt to track.
How We Share Your Information
Shock Therapy® does not rent or sell your information to third parties for their marketing purposes though you may choose to opt in to receive opportunities for products. However, we do share your information in four circumstances. The first is to our employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, distributors, dealers, vendors or suppliers who provide us with services we need to perform for you but we limit the sharing to what they need to perform. The second is if a court or legal body subpoenas us and we are directed to provide your information. The third is if we sell or transfer the business or file for bankruptcy protection and would be required by such a process to make a limited disclosure of your information. The fourth is sharing that part of your data without your identity and doing so in combination with other’s data to aggregate statistical information. Again, we may share your information with third party marketers but you may opt out of that.
This site may not be used by anyone under 13 years old and those who are at least 13 but younger than 18 may only do so with a parent or guardian.
